Cyber Security Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are now looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to work on a long term project for one of our clients operating in the energy industry. Your main role will be to design and implement solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with governance, and supporting incident response across cloud technologies and enterprise services. The cybersecurity analyst is expected to work independently, take guidance from senior leaders, and collaborate effectively with the team.

As a Cyber Security Analyst with us you will:

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to safeguard company data, systems, and networks; perform risk assessments, threat modeling, penetration testing and vulnerability analysis.
• Develop and maintain security solutions through Python programming, PostgreSQL database management, automation of security controls, and support of secure software development life-cycle (S-SDLC) activities.
• Respond to system and network security breaches, conduct root cause analysis, enable appropriate security controls, and collaborate with enterprise security teams on uncovering vulnerabilities.
• Promote a “cyber-safe culture” across the organization by supporting teams and customers, performing log analysis, handling administrative/security reporting tasks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field
• Proven record of strong technical understanding (penetration & vulnerability testing, Identity & Access Management, Application security & encryption technologies)
• Up to 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology
• Basic level experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
• Be available to work on-site from the Košice office 3x per week
