SAP Lead

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Lead to take ownership of SAP system operations and support in our manufacturing plant in Trnava. This senior position plays a critical role in connecting business processes with IT solutions, ensuring smooth production operations in a premium automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily SAP operations with a strong focus on system stability, performance, and availability
• Administer and support SAP modules including MM, PP, QM, and WM
• Provide SAP support for production planning, inventory, logistics, and quality processes
• Support and Coordinate SAP upgrades, patches, integrations
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP, MES, and other plant and third-party systems
• Monitor data quality, system performance, and security compliance
• Provide advanced (Tier 2/3) IT and SAP support and coordinate external vendors
• Lead IT projects, system improvements, and continuous optimization initiatives

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Solid experience with SAP in a manufacturing or automotive environment
• English language skills at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Experience with IT infrastructure, user support, and cybersecurity practices
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Advantage: experience with SAP S/4HANA, ITIL, project management, SAP integrations, or OEM (BMW) standards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT Management ITIL Foundation or higher certification

Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or Agile) - welcomed

Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects - welcomed

Knowledge of additional SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, PM, MM/PP) -

Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, APIs)

Programming/scripting skills (ABAP, Python, PowerShell) - welcomed

Previous experience in greenfield plant IT setup or ramp-up phase

Familiarity with BMW or other premium OEM IT standards and requirements
