Accountant Intercompany

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Intercompany team. This role offers the opportunity to support key financial processes while driving continuous improvements within our Intercompany operations. Your tasks will include:

-Invoice Management: Process both automatic and manual intercompany invoices, ensuring timely release for payments.
-Account Reconciliation: Assist with the reconciliation of global Intercompany accounts (Subledger and General Ledger).
-Period-End Closings: Support the monthly/quarterly closing processes, including revenue and expense accruals.
-Cash Pool Reconciliation: Contribute to global cash pool reconciliation activities.
-Intercompany Payments: Assist in managing Intercompany payment activities via Covestro Intercompany Clearing (CIC).
-Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate on performance testing for ongoing projects.
-Compliance: Ensure team members are aligned with Covestro’s policies and procedures, maintaining compliance and service delivery standards.
-Performance Monitoring: Help track and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Intercompany processes.
-Efficiency Initiatives: Support the implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Intercompany transactions.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with focus on accounting/controlling or equivalent qualification
-Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting or similar role
-Understanding of global Accounts Payable, Sales & Distribution, External Reporting, and Financial Closing processes
-Strong English language skills, including finance and accounting terminology
-Experience in SAP is of advantage
-Ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical solutions
-Experience working effectively with diverse international teams
-Proactive approach to change management, including planning and clear communication
