Category Manager

#Who are we looking for?#
We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking Category Manager to take ownership of a strategic category of equipment and services linked to new sustainable technologies and emerging business areas. This is a key Group level role where you will drive category strategy, collaboration, supplier management, and innovation that directly contributes to the company’s environmental and operational goals.

#What will you do?#
*Strengthening cooperation across Procurement and related departments in assigned countries.
*Leading and implementing category strategies and managing cross functional working groups.
*Coordinating supplier selection and executing short-, mid-, and long term procurement plans.
*Managing category projects, including new technologies, savings initiatives, and supplier performance improvements.
*Monitoring market trends and innovations to optimize category strategy.
*Supporting negotiation planning, sourcing processes, and claim management.
*Overseeing Supplier Relationship Management and acting as the escalation point for supplier issues.
*Contributing to long lead time planning, market analysis, reporting, and delivering KPIs and savings targets.

#What do we expect?#
*University or College degree (Economics, Engineering, Law).
*5–6 years of experience in procurement or category management.
*Excellent command of English.
*Proficient user of ERP systems (preferably SAP), BI tools, and MS Office.
*Willingness to travel; B category driving licence required.
*Strong analytical mindset and solid negotiation capabilities.
