O pozícii

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The Supplier Risk and Compliance team in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bratislava is responsible for the ongoing monitoring and onboarding activities of the client’s outsourced and third-party suppliers, processes, and systems. The team ensures all operations comply with regulatory requirements and established governance models, including both internal and external frameworks.

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically authoritative individual contributor to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team. This role requires the proven capability to lead complex initiatives and govern critical program elements, effectively operating at a senior level to ensure program continuity and strategic delivery. This position reports to the Supplier Risk and Compliance Manager (Team Lead).


Key Responsibilities


Lead and execute ongoing monitoring and onboarding activity for existing and new suppliers, driving high quality, robust outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Provide guidance and act as an escalation point for complex risk and compliance issues.

Support program continuity by providing operational oversight and delegation support for key program tasks when the Supplier Risk and Compliance Manager is unavailable.

Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements across compliance processes and ensure alignment with multiple regulatory requirements and internal/external frameworks.

Communicate and interact with the Client’s Functional Leadership and act as a key point of contact for routine governance and program updates.

Ensure that process and key governance documentation is prepared and maintained according to the requirements of the wider CoE process.

Support the drive to ensure operational performance is at the required level according to relevant SLA’s and KPI’s.

The scope of activity includes:

Executing due diligence processes (internal & external) for all outsourcing.

Managing high risk third party requests, from initiation to approval from all stakeholders.

Monitoring the performance of the client’s suppliers, including mapping the correct risk/performance scorecards.

Controls administration and self-assessment activities.

Maintain outsourcing framework compliance information to enable audits and control reviews.

Trigger and support quarterly control owner self-assessment process, ensuring that where issues are identified, action plans are in place.

Perform independent control operational effectiveness testing, documenting results and providing recommendations to remediate deficiencies.

Risk Assessment reviews.

Exit Plan administration.

KRI reporting.

Performance monitoring.

Support the development and circulation of insightful MI through review of submitted packs.

Assist in managing the billing and invoicing processes (Financial Control).

Ad hoc project work as required.

Support the Supplier Risk and Compliance Manager in ad hoc tasks that may arise occasionally.


Key Skills and Experiences: 


 In order to fulfil the requirements outlined above, it is expected that the successful candidate will have:

A background in Compliance or Risk within the Financial services industry.

Demonstrable experience achieving high quality operational outcomes.

A pro-active, continuous improvement mindset with the ability to ‘connect the dots’ through analysing feedback, identifying emerging issues / themes and working with relevant stakeholders to address.

Positive attitude

Analytical thinking - ability to analyse data, identify patterns and problem areas and come up with improvement opportunities.

Strong collaboration and influencing skills to deliver results.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience working within an outsourced, shared service, or consulting background working with clients desirable.

Excellent English skills required.
