About Innixus
Innixus is an advisory and consulting firm specialising in go-to-market, sales, and business development for cybersecurity and technology startups. We design and operate startup programs, run a cybersecurity professional community, and manage the Innovation HUB — a separate brand for the broader innovation ecosystem. We work closely with founders and partners to help early-stage companies grow through structured programs, community, and real-world execution.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing to own marketing strategy and execution across Innixus, our startup programs, and our community brands. You are not a coordinator - you are the marketing function. You set the direction, manage a bench of external specialists, and make sure things actually get done.
The role covers multiple active pillars simultaneously: a cybersecurity professional community, a separate innovation brand, recurring events, new program launches, and a coworking space in development. Each has a different audience, a different voice, and different goals. You hold all of it.
What you will do
- Own marketing planning and execution across all active pillars - community, innovation programs, events, and new initiatives as they launch
- Maintain distinct brand voices and content strategies for different audiences — cybersecurity professionals, startup founders, innovation ecosystem players
- Plan and run marketing for incubator and accelerator program launches — positioning, landing pages, acquisition campaigns, application funnels, onboarding sequences
- Build and manage content, SEO, social media, newsletters, and email campaigns across multiple brands
- Plan and execute event marketing for community meetups and program events promotion, registration, follow-up
- Brief, activate, and review external specialists (designers, copywriters, SEO, PR) you manage the bench and own the output
- Advise startups in our programs on positioning, go-to-market, channel selection, and early marketing execution
- Track performance across pillars and report clearly on what's working and what isn't
- Own the marketing tools stack
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role owning a full marketing function
- Proven experience running marketing across multiple brands or audiences at the same time — not just one product, one channel, or one campaign
- Experience launching or marketing a startup program, incubator, accelerator, or similar initiative
- Has built email onboarding sequences and member communication flows, not just sent newsletters
- Experience briefing and managing external specialists — you've coordinated a bench before, not just worked alongside one
- Background in tech, cybersecurity, SaaS, or the startup/innovation ecosystem
- Has worked in a small team where you owned outcomes end-to-end

- Strong generalist: content strategy, SEO, email marketing, social media, event marketing, paid campaigns — you know how each works and when to use them
- Able to write — briefs, copy, positioning statements, campaign plans. You don't outsource your thinking
- Thinks in audiences: the same message does not work for a cybersecurity professional, a university founder, and an innovation partner
- Organised and outcome-oriented — you track things, follow up, and nothing falls through the cracks
- Comfortable starting from a direction, not a fully defined brief
- Excellent written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Central European startup or tech ecosystem (Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Hungary)
- Existing relationships in the local startup, university, or innovation community
- Experience building a brand or campaign from zero
- Slovak or Czech language skills
