At Ohpen, we’re tackling exciting technical challenges as we continue to evolve our cloud-based core banking platform.

That’s why we’re looking for a skilled #Tech Lead# to join our team. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our core banking platform, ensuring our solutions remain scalable, secure, and cutting-edge.

#Briefing#
You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary squad that owns #the mid-office domain# of our platform. You will be working on everything from defining new features to delivering them into production.

As a Tech Lead, you’ll split your time between #hands-on development and leadership#. About 60% of your work will involve coding, while the rest will focus on guiding our developers, leading one-on-ones and team direction.

Our platform runs on #AWS#. We build it with #Java and Spring#. If you enjoy creating clean, powerful systems and working with #Spring Boot, Terraform, and Terragrunt,# this is the place for you.

#About You#
· You have 5+ years with programming languages such as #Java, C++, Rust# and willingness to code in #Java/SpringBoot#
· You have experience as #a Tech Lead# or are motivated to step into a leadership role
· Strong #leadership and team management skills#
· You have semi-advanced knowledge or interest in #AWS (EC2, Lambda, LB)#
· You have experience with #Terraform, GitHub + workflows#


#How We Work#
We don’t do sprints or ticket factories. We deliver whatever we deem best value/effort, release biweekly (for now), and constantly work to shorten feedback loops. Developers write code, tests, and deploy. Each team has one QA and one DevOps - no handovers, no walls to throw things over.

Everyone is expected to contribute to #architecture and design#. Bureaucracy is kept to a minimum. If something slows us down, we fix it.
