Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking across multi-site environments. The role focuses on routing, switching, Wi-Fi, MPLS, SAN and DWDM and supporting advanced transport technologies.

Core Networking Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Manage and optimize:
- Standard LAN switching
- Layer 3 routing (dynamic routing protocols)
- Spanning Tree (STP/RSTP/MSTP)
• Support and troubleshoot:
- MPLS connectivity between all sites (Nokia)
- Cisco Wi-Fi infrastructure (Access Points + Controllers)
• Perform upgrades, optimization, and capacity planning across the network
• Troubleshoot incidents (A+/A/B/C severity) and ensure service continuity
• Integrate with monitoring systems (Zabbix, PRTG, SNMP, Syslog)
• Maintain and update technical documentation (NetBox, diagrams, configs)
• Prepare operational and SLA reports

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• 4-5+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
• Ability to work independently and handle production-critical environments
• Good communication and documentation skills

Required Expertise (Must-Have):
• LAN Switching (VLANs, 802.1Q, trunking, STP variants)
• Dynamic Routing (OSPF, BGP or equivalent)
• Spanning Tree Protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP)
• MPLS (preferably in a Nokia-based environment) - hands-on or strong operational understanding
• Cisco Wi-Fi systems (APs + wireless controllers)
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in enterprise networks
• A strong networking background and ability to learn quickly is what matters.

Technologies You Should Be Willing & Able to Learn:
• SAN technologies
• Cisco MDS Fibre Channel (zoning, VSANs, fabrics)
• DWDM systems (Nokia, Cisco), including:
- ROADM
- Optical channel engineering
- OSNR/BER monitoring
- XPonder and optical transport basics

Preferred (Optional) Certifications
• CCNP Enterprise or Service Provider
• ITIL Foundation
