Azure Application Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join a small, agile team delivering solutions for Asset Management. The role involves developing and maintaining Azure-based applications that integrate trading, finance, and risk management systems, as well as building reporting tools to support business processes and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities are:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure applications and reporting solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient software components.
- Write and maintain automated tests and documentation.
- Develop Azure Functions using Python and small applications on the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Analyze existing code, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Support a culture of continuous learning and Agile practices.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are genuinely curious about the world of software development, we will be happy to meet you.

Some of the requirements are:

- At least 3 years in a relevant software development role.
- Proficient in Python and related libraries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English communication.
- Microsoft Azure services experience, especially Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with testing frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Jira, DevSecOps, and cloud security basics.
- Exposure to frontend technologies and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, ARM).
