Your mission

Develop advanced features: Participate actively in designing and implementing core navigation, trajectory planning, driving logic, and product handling algorithms.
Maintain code excellence: Uphold high standards in coding practices, ensuring clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
Collaboration and mentorship: Engage in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions to foster continuous improvement and personal growth within the team.
Robotics innovation: Contribute to the design of robotic movements, integration of advanced features, and improvements in computer vision and autonomous operations.

Key responsibilities

Robotics Software Development and Integration:

Build robust and high-performance software components in C++ (and Python), adhering to modern standards.
Enhance and develop algorithms for navigation, manipulation, and vision processing within robotic systems.
Integrate the Runner platform seamlessly with Intuition, our warehouse management system and other third-party systems.

Feature ownership:

Take complete ownership of specific product features from specification through to implementation.
Drive feature development proactively, coordinating effectively with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other relevant teams.

Quality assurance:

Participate actively in comprehensive code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.
Develop and manage automated testing procedures using frameworks like Google Test to ensure software reliability.

Problem-solving:

Identify, troubleshoot, and efficiently resolve complex software issues.
Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions promptly.
Your Profile:

Must-have:

3-5 years of professional experience in C++ development.
Solid understanding of modern C++ (preferably C++20), including familiarity with STL, templates, and multithreading.
Basic knowledge of Python.
Proficiency with Git version control (GitHub or similar).
Experience in writing automated tests, preferably using Google Test.
Familiarity with CMake
Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Effective communicator and collaborative team player.

Nice-to-have:

Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Exposure to robotics frameworks like ROS1/ROS2 or microservice environments
Hands-on experience in robotics or computer vision.
Knowledge or experience within logistics, manufacturing, or related industrial environments.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Prometheus+Grafana, Elastic+Kibana, or similar technologies.
