Chief Financial Officer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Having full responsibility for the company’s financial, tax, treasury, and risk management agenda
• Reporting directly to the CEO and indirectly to the Board and Group HQ
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, Slovak GAAP, and all regulatory requirements
• Providing strategic leadership in cash flow, liquidity, and long-term financial planning
• Overseeing accounting, audits, tax returns, and external auditor relationships
• Managing financial models, scenario analysis, and reporting to shareholders, lenders, and authorities
• Monitoring debt drawdowns, financial covenants, and project financing conditions
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to ensure cost efficiency
• Administering insurance programs and delivering regular risk assessments
• Maintaining strong relationships with shareholders, lenders, ministries, other authorities and key stakeholders

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in finance, including 3 years in a CFO or Finance Director role
• Strong experience with project finance structures, and covenant reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling and data analysis)
• Understanding of PPP mechanisms is an advantage
• Experience inusing accounting and reporting software
• Fluent in Slovak and English (C1+) languages, knowledge of another European language is an advantage
• Strategic mindset
• Ability to communicate complex financial matters to non-financial audiences
• Strong leadership
• Very good stakeholder negotiation skills
• Strong decision-making skills
