Senior Java Developer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced Senior implementation Java developer to drive the successful delivery of enterprise manufacturing and production execution systems within a dynamic automotive environment.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on delivery oversight, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong on-site presence required during key phases such asindustrialization, commissioning, and pre-series production.

​Working model: 100 % on-site in Kosice (offering significant flexibility)​​

Key responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the implementation team, including junior developers
• Align priorities with project plans and production milestones
• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards
• Act as the main point of contact for technical and delivery-related topics across project stakeholders

Technical Ownership & Delivery Assurance

• Oversee deployment of manufacturing system releases following established processes
• Ensure proper system configuration aligned with production and business requirements
• Guide and review integration, system, and regression testing
• Ensure readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and commissioning

Operational Support & Issue Management

• Supervise troubleshooting of applications, integrations, and environments
• Ensure proper documentation and escalation of incidents and defects
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution planning for critical production issues

Industrialization & Commissioning

• Collaborate closely with industrialization teams during production ramp-up phases
• Ensure system stability and operational readiness
• Provide expert guidance to business users and local teams on system usage

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain high-quality technical and configuration documentation
• Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and dependencies
• Participate in governance forums and project coordination meetings

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with enterprise or industrial software systems in production environments
• Strong knowledge of Java-based architectures and system integrations
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in structured, process-driven environments
• Willingness to work fully on-site close to production operations

• Nice to Have
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES)or production systems
• Familiarity with release, deployment, and testing governance
• Experience working in cross-functional environments (IT, production, business)
