The Doctor Data Quality team sits within the broader DQ Function which includes Data Culture, Process & Controls Excellence, Data Hunting & Reporting and Dr DQ.

After an initial period (typically 6 months), this role will rotate to another data position within the Data Tower.

The Dr DQ team will be known as “yes people” who take accountability for DQ fixes within underlying data, MI & systems.
As a “Dr DQ” Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the effectiveness of our Data Quality function, within the Report, Fix, Prevent strategy.
REPORT: You will be the first point of contact for all within the company who want to report a data quality issue, providing timely and effective support.
FIX: You will drive cross-functional squads (usually including MI, Systems, Data, Operations) to resolve data issues.
PREVENT: You will spearhead root cause analysis of all issue to improve the quality of our data assets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure DQ issues are triaged in a timely manner (meeting agreed SLAs).
• Work closely with stakeholders to fully understand the issues.
• Own DQ issues through full life cycle.
• Clearly identify root cause.
• Document process gaps and recommend areas for improvement.
• Build the teams knowledge bank with useful insights and lessons learned.

Your Skills:

• Customer-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Creative mind willing to contribute.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Quality Analyst or in a similar role.
• Previous experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of data quality concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools (knowledge of Power BI & JIRA would be a great plus).
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and reliability.
• Is in their element when managing multiple tasks, involving multiple stakeholders in a fast-changing environment.

Your Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data support role.
