Role Overview

As a Technical Lead, you will take ownership of technical design, development quality, and delivery support for a core insurance platform within an international enterprise setup. You will cooperate with local and regional stakeholders, architects, analysts, developers, and external delivery partners to turn business requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development activities for a core enterprise insurance platform.

• Translate business requirements from international stakeholders into practical technical solutions.

• Define and improve development standards, coding practices, and engineering quality.

• Review code, solution designs, and technical documentation prepared by internal or external teams.

• Support developers with complex technical decisions, troubleshooting, and implementation guidance.

• Collaborate with architects on platform direction, integration principles, and long-term maintainability.

• Challenge vendor proposals and ensure delivered solutions meet enterprise-level quality expectations.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and improvement areas across local and international delivery streams.

• Contribute to platform modernization, performance improvement, and simplification of existing solutions.

• Communicate technical topics clearly to engineering teams, business stakeholders, and regional decision-makers.

• Support release planning, estimation, prioritization, and technical impact assessment.

• Promote pragmatic engineering decisions instead of over-engineered architecture.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET / .NET Core.

• Solid experience with MSSQL, data modelling, query optimisation, and database performance topics.

• Experience with REST API design, integration patterns, and backend system communication.

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar message broker technologies.

• Understanding of IIS and Windows-based application hosting.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

• Understanding of Azure development environments and cooperation with on-prem production systems.

• Ability to connect application development with infrastructure, DevOps, and operational thinking.

• Previous experience as Senior Developer, Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Solution Lead.

• Experience working with vendors and challenging technical delivery quality.

• Experience from insurance, banking, financial services, telco, or another complex regulated environment is welcome.
