As the Head of IT Operations, you are the guardian of our company’s technical integrity and the bridge to our clients' infrastructure needs. This is a dual-focus leadership position: you will oversee our internal ICT ecosystem and oversee initiatives for the technical integration of our external client projects.

Core responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead & mentor two core teams: the internal ICT Team (support and infra) and the project-oriented Infrastructure Team (client-side remote configuration, administration & integration support).
• Internal Infrastructure Management: Direct the strategy for internal networks, server environments, cloud services, and physical access systems.
• Client Project Integration: Step in as the senior technical voice during project phases that require high-level infrastructure oversight and professional English communication.
• Stakeholder & Client Communication: Serve as the senior tech authority in client meetings, discussing and steering infrastructure needs & requirements
• Security: Close cooperation with the internal Cybersecurity & Compliance Manager on security topics
• Continual Process Optimization: Audit existing workflows & identify bottlenecks in device provisioning, support response, and project integration, implementing permanent fixes rather than temporary patches. You will be ensuring that playbooks, automation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with hardware/software vendors and oversee the IT budget.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 7+ years in IT Infrastructure/Operations, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership or management role.
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of networking, cloud, virtualization, security principles and AI tools.
• Language Skills: Slovak & English on a professional level
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical concepts to both technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-Solving: A proven track record of managing complex IT projects from inception to completion under tight deadlines.
• Education: University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent senior-level experience).
