Head of operations - new production plant!

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
A globally established technology leader specialising in high-current contact systems, vehicle charging interfaces, cable system engineering and advanced connector solutions is entering the Slovak market and building a brand-new production plant in Prešov (approx. 25 employees) - be a part of it!

Do you have experience in production, logistics, and process management? We are looking for a Head of Operations to join a team in Presov, where you will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing a new manufacturing plant.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and control all production and all processes at the new plant.

• Ensure smooth supply chain operations and continuously develop our suppliers and service providers.

• Take technical and disciplinary responsibility for the production team.

• Implement and monitor investments within the area of responsibility.

• Ensure timely deliveries and compliance with quality standards.

• Promote Lean Management principles and ensure efficient production with minimal waste.

• Prepare regular reports for the management board.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• A completed technical or business degree (preferably in industrial engineering).

• Experience in production, logistics, and intralogistics management.

• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and employee development.

• Experience in startup management, particularly in building new manufacturing plants and establishing efficient operational systems.

• Strong expertise in project management and the implementation of new production processes.

• Knowledge of Lean Management methods, REFA production processes, IT, and ERP systems.

• Business-fluent in English and Slovak, both written and spoken + German language skills are an asset

• Excellent communication, negotiation, decisiveness, assertiveness, and team collaboration skills.
