About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join a global automotive environment and support supplier quality activities across multiple international production plants.

This position is part of a newly established structure reporting directly to abroad management. The role has a strong international scope and will involve close cooperation with suppliers and manufacturing sites across EMEA, LATAM, APAC.

The successful candidate will operate independently in Slovakia while supporting global quality initiatives within the corporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality activities for global automotive projects
• Support supplier development, qualification, and performance improvement initiatives
• Conduct and support supplier audits and quality assessments
• Participate in and coordinate PPAP, APQP, and other automotive quality processes
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and drive corrective actions when needed
• Support local manufacturing plants with supplier-related quality issues
• Cooperate with international quality teams and suppliers worldwide
• Travel internationally to suppliers and production sites when required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within automotive manufacturing
• Good understanding of automotive quality standards and tools:
  • PPAP
  • APQP
  • Audits
  • Root cause analysis & corrective actions
• Experience working with suppliers in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and automotive processes
• Proactive, self-driven, and well-organized personality
• Ability to work independently and communicate across global teams
• English language is mandatory (daily international communication)
• Slovak language is not mandatory
• Experience with electronic components is an advantage, not a requirement
