We are now looking for an experienced Accountant for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The role is based in Prague, Czechia.
Job description:
- full scope of statutory accounting for a Czech holding company
- preparation of a supporting documentation for VAT submissions, statistical reports, and statutory financial statements (with the potential to gradually take over the full agenda)
- preparation of the group reporting package
- responsibility for close communication and coordination with accounting teams across the CEE region – collection of financial investment data, reconciliation of intercompany balances, collection of consolidation packages
- coordination of cost-sharing arrangements within the CEE
We require:
- secondary school education in Economics or a related field
- fluent command of Czech and English (written and spoken)
- minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting
- solid knowledge of accounting regulations and the ability to navigate legislation quickly
- IT profiency, including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
- ability to work independently
- willingness to travel to Warsaw
- strong organizational and communication skills

- ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
