Quality Service Specialist

About the role:

As a Quality Service Specialist, you will act as the local quality representative directly within our warehouse operation at our distribution centre in Jažlovice (Říčany, near Prague).

Your role will be to provide our customer with reliable information about product quality and maintain a clear overview of incoming goods, stock quality and potential quality risks.

Your key responsibilities:

• Perform incoming product quality inspections according to defined inspection plans and procedures.
• Monitor and report supplier quality performance and recurring product or material defects.
• Conduct stock checks, inventory reviews and product assessments.
• Carry out random inspections and special quality investigations focused on specific products, production batches or identified quality issues.
• Coordinate rework of non-conforming orders requiring 100% inspection, repair, relabelling, repacking or other corrective actions performed by external service providers.
• Verify the quality of reworked products through follow-up inspections before their release.
• Support the professional assessment of returned products and contribute your quality expertise to ensure fast and accurate decisions on further actions.
• Provide guidance to a Quality Auditor on inspection procedures and support the correct execution of quality checks.
• Escalate critical quality findings and potential risks to your manager in a timely manner.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in product inspection, quality control or quality assurance, ideally within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
• Ability to identify defects and assess product quality.
• Good organisational and analytical skills.
• Fluent Czech and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with garments, textiles or fashion products and knowledge of textile quality standards is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.
