Automation Lead Project Engineer (Praha)

This role is about shaping automation projects from the ground up – defining the technical concept, coordinating design, and driving execution. You’ll lead the engineering scope, manage interfaces with customers and suppliers, and present your work during project reviews. Creativity, ownership, and technical leadership are key.

What you’ll handle

• Define the technical concept and architecture of automation projects
• Lead engineering execution of medium-sized automation projects
• Coordinate design deliverables, documentation, and technical reviews
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Resolve issues during design, manufacturing, and commissioning
• Track schedules, budgets, and subcontracted services
• Present technical scope during project reviews
• Document lessons learned and share best practices

What you bring

• Secondary or university education in a technical field (automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in automation project engineering or equivalent
• Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making skills
• Experience working across international teams
• Understanding of manufacturing principles and project risk
• Fluent English is a must; Czech is a plus
