Claim Management Specialist

At the Dynamowerk Berlin, we are looking for a Claims Management Specialist to join our SQM team immediately on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, participating in, and/or leading claim negotiations with internal and external business partners is one of your core responsibilities.
• You will be responsible for the management and enforcement of claims in close cooperation with technical, legal, and commercial departments.
• Reporting ongoing claims and recovery activities to management is part of your responsibility.
• Your tasks will also include documenting and preparing claims in accordance with contractual requirements and framework conditions.
• You will be responsible for the continuous development of the claims management process and support the analysis and evaluation of data and factual matters.

What Do You Bring? (Education, Experience, Skills, Competencies)

• Completed technical vocational training or a comparable technical qualification, with detailed knowledge of electrical motors.
• You impress with your confident demeanor, quick comprehension, and your independent and structured way of working.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, as well as business-fluent German, are mandatory.
• You need to be present in Berlin, Germany on a weekly basis, 2weeks per month.
• Strong communication skills across hierarchical and functional boundaries, assertiveness, and negotiation skills are essential.
• A high level of resilience, composure, and stress resistance is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; SAP knowledge is also expected.
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, etc.) and a strong technical affinity are desirable.
• Initiative and motivation for further training in quality management topics are highly appreciated.
• Experience in quality management is desirable but not mandatory.
