Application Engineer Bi-Fuel

We are looking for suitable candidates for the position: Application Engineer Bi-Fuel

The main task on this position is to provide application support to our Bi-Fuel customers for highly complex technical issues. Our new colleague would be also responsible for technical improvement of the whole application especially for pilot projects.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Concept preparation – designing of the main concept with respect to the customer needs
• Pre-sales stage – supporting the responsible sales manager/distributor with creating the offer
• Realization stage – selecting of suitable suppliers, consultancy with the integrator about design and other technical details
• Installation – supervising of the installation (if needed), technical supervising on site
• Commissioning – providing the commissioning and start-up supervision
• Troubleshooting – day to day technical support and solving of technical issues (email, phone, on-site)
• Creation, providing of required technical documentation (manuals, schematic drawing, installation plans, etc.)
• Providing trainings and technical presentations for our customers

What makes you a great fit:

• Basic understanding of combustion engine design
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in Bi-Fuel
• A technical secondary school diploma / University degree in the field of mechanical engineering (or electrical engineering) is preferred
• Knowledge of PLC programming as an advantage
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work from our office in Prague – Holešovice three days per week.
• Proactivity, client oriented and goal seeking approach
• Willingness to travel, including one-day trips within the Czech Republic and international business trips (minimum 7 day), mainly to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the USA, and Latin America.
• Excellent orientation in technical documentation (mechanical/electrical)
• Electrotechnical qualification according to Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Sb. as an advantage
