Working Student – Sales Operations, Data & AI

We are looking for a capable and independent student who can combine the analysis of commercial data with the preparation of management materials and the smart use of AI. This is not a classic administrative role – we are looking above all for an analytically minded person who wants to work with real business and grow in Sales Operations and data analytics.

The position is also suitable for students in higher years of study or recent graduates with limited experience. More important than length of experience is structured thinking, reliability, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to use AI tools in practice. Experience in Power BI and Power Apps is an advantage.

A key part of the role will be preparing trustworthy data, reports and materials for commercial and product decisions supporting more than 40 companies within the group. You should be able to work with data independently, translate business requirements into clear outputs, and use AI to work faster and better – while always checking accuracy and sources.

We highly value personal initiative. You will get room to bring your own ideas and run smaller projects of your own – for example improving work with data, setting up B2B sales workflow and automating. At the same time, we expect you to take your ideas through to a usable result and own them, rather than just raising the idea.

What you will do:

• Prepare, update and check commercial reports, overviews and dashboards from CRM and data supplied by individual companies.
• Identify, collect, and analyze market data and support its adoption into business strategies.
• Clean, combine and structure data in various databases – identifying duplicates, missing values and inconsistencies, and mapping companies, segments, products and opportunity stages.
• Create first versions of management presentations in PowerPoint using existing templates, and check the consistency of figures between Excel, presentations and other materials.
• Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) for data analysis, research, drafting summaries, first versions of reports and presentations, and for automating repetitive tasks – always with critical review of the output.
• Carry out market, competitor and regulatory research – finding and structuring public sources and clearly distinguishing between a verified fact, a claim and an estimate.
• Support the preparation of CRM (Dynamics 365), Key Account Management and Sales Strategy materials – consolidating minutes and tracking open tasks, decisions, owners and deadlines.
• Automate analytical processes and replace manual activities with data tools, and look for simpler and more efficient ways of working.
• Help prepare materials for international meetings and management across the group.

What we are looking for:

• University studies, ideally in economics, business, analytics, mathematics or a technical field (suitable also for graduates).
• Very good Microsoft Excel skills – working with larger datasets, lookup functions, pivot tables, filters and data checks. MS Dynamics knowledge is an advantage.
• The ability to prepare a clean and clear PowerPoint presentation based on a given template.
• Practical experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) and the ability to write a good prompt, use AI effectively and critically verify the output.
• Structured, analytical thinking and the ability to translate a business problem into a clear data solution.
• Attention to detail, diligence and the ability to check your own work before sending it out.
• Independence, reliability and the ability to work even with incomplete or unclear information – including the willingness to flag an error or missing data rather than guessing it.
• Personal initiative and the ability to follow through – a willingness to come up with your own ideas, but also the responsibility to take them to a usable result.
• Very good English, you will speak English a lot. Czech is not needed.
• Interest in business, data, CRM and energy, and a willingness to learn new tools and business models.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps or more advanced Excel functions.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Copilot in real work.
• Basic familiarity with CRM or Dynamics 365.
• The ability to build a simple HTML dashboard, or basic knowledge of Python, SQL or working with APIs and data sources.
• Own data projects, a GitHub profile, or a thesis focused on working with data or automation.
• Interest in B2B business, energy or digital transformation.

We do not expect you to know everything. What matters more is the ability to learn quickly, take ownership of a task, and deliver an output we can trust.
